As part of the JEF Twinning programme, Europæisk Ungdom København will be hosting members from two local sections of JEF Deutschland, the JEF North Rhine Westphalia and JEF Schleswig-Holstein.
The European Parliament in Denmark will introduce the campaign dennegangstemmerjeg, or thistimeimvoting. The EU is experiencing the highest levels of support amongst citizens in decades. Still, it is not enough to hope this will translate into a high turnout, and so we encourage engaged Europeans to get involved in the campaign and call on their friends, families and communities to vote and help others to do the same. The workshop will focus on exchanging best practices on how to promote the European elections in 2019 and discuss a joint strategy for the EUK and the German chapters of JEF.
The workshop is part of a visit from German sections of the JEF to Denmark in an effort to further cross-border cooperation and knowledge exchange. The project is co-funded by JEF Europe as part of the Europe-wide project Europe@school. It is part of a campaign to motivate especially young Europeans to vote in the upcoming European Elections in May 2019.
